
We’re looking to recruit new Trustees and a Treasurer to join our team.
Trustees are responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and management of Kapella (previously known as Relate Birmingham & Black Country). They ensure we’re well-run, financially secure, and working towards our mission to promote health, respect, and justice in relationships.
What does being a Trustee involve?

Serve your local community while making an impact on a regional and national level.

Attend Board meetings and contribute to key decision-making.

Participate in national forums and discussions shaping the future of relationship support services.

Additionally, we’re seeking individuals who can:
- Communicate effectively and contribute to policy decisions.
- Identify with the needs of those facing relationship challenges.
- Support Kapella’s mission and understand the benefits of our education and training services.
- Work well in a team, show leadership, and understand charity finances.
