Introducing Kapella: New Name, Same Trusted Support

1 July 2025

We’re proud to share that Relate Birmingham and Black Country has officially rebranded as Kapella – a fresh new name, but the same trusted team, services, and commitment to helping people build stronger relationships and improve emotional wellbeing.

While our name and visual identity have evolved, the heart of our work remains unchanged:

  • The same team of experienced counsellors and mediators
  • The same trusted services – now more accessible than ever
  • The same commitment to supporting people across the Midlands

A Fresh Start for the Future

Our move to Kapella marks an exciting new chapter. Over the coming months, you’ll start to see our new identity reflected across our buildings, website, social media, printed materials, and outreach work.

We’re still here for you – just under a new name that reflects who we are today and where we’re heading.

Why Kapella?

Inspired by Capella, one of the brightest stars in the night sky, the name Kapella symbolises guidance, support, and clarity – qualities at the heart of what we do. It also carries a subtle nod to a cappella community expression, reflecting our belief in togetherness and shared voice. Like a guiding star, we’re here to help you navigate life’s challenges, whether you’re facing relationship difficulties, family changes, or emotional struggles.

We chose a name that feels warm, inclusive, and future-focused – a reflection of the values we hold: compassion, community, and support for all.

We continue to offer our full range of services across the Midlands, including: Birmingham, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Sandwell, Dudley, Lichfield, Tamworth, Cannock, Walsall, Solihull, South Staffordshire, Telford, and surrounding areas.
